Holy cow, only about 100 days left until my arrival--where did all the time go?! Mommy is busily trying to ready everything for my arrival, and even more busily trying to figure out how she and Daddy are going to make ends meet when I do get here. Mommy says that she is looking forward to me coming out of her belly at last because I'm starting to make things pretty uncomfortable in here, but the reality of having two little people completely dependent on her and what that will do to everyday life and finances is quite overwhelming.
I am now about 13 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 pounds. No wonder Mommy is starting to get uncomfortable, that's a lot of baby to cram in there! My hands are now fully developed and I spend a lot of time exploring in here by grabbing and touching everything I can. My brain and nerve endings are developed enough that I can feel the sensation of touch. My nostrils, which have been plugged until now, are cleared out and I can practice breathing. My capillaries are developing, along with the blood vessels in my lungs. Lots of stuff going on in here!
