I spent most of the weekend wearing Mommy out. Yesterday by the time we arrived home from the airport, Mommy was completely worn out. She ended up taking a nap, but is still just wiped out today. Too much activity for a pregnant lady I guess.
I am 18 weeks old now, which means almost halfway there. Two weeks and Mommy and Daddy will get their first real glimpse at me on the ultrasound. How exciting!
At 18 weeks I am 5 1/2 inches long and about 5-7 ounces. My ears are completely formed now and I can hear things inside and outside of the womb. This week is the beginning of "ossification" which means my bones are starting to harden. All of my senses are developing and myelin is now coating all of my nerves.
