The Ultrasound

Today was the 20 week ultrasound and I played hard to get. When Ultrasound Tech Bobbi first started the scan, I was lying in the womb breech, on my back, and with my feet up over my head. Basically, poor Bobbi couldn't get a picture of anything that she needed. She needed to do some work for another lady too, so she went off to do that for a few minutes and told Mommy to lay on her side for a little while to see if I would roll around and make for a better view. Mommy rolled over and stayed there for about 10 minutes while Bobbi did her work and I did a really good job of moving all over the place while Mommy poked her belly. By the time Bobbi got back I was much more cooperative. I had pulled my legs down from over my head and had rolled onto my side a little. Bobbi was able to get all the pictures she needed for the doctors and was able to check me over very thoroughly. Finally, she was able to get down to the real business of why we were there--would I pee standing up or sitting down when potty training time comes? Upon close inspection, the answer was quite clear--as Bobbi put it, "Well, if that isn't a distinct give away right there, I don't know what is!" Yep, I'm a BOY!!! Mommy and Daddy are really excited.
