15 Weeks

This was a special week for Mommy and me. Thursday was the first time Mommy felt me moving in her belly. It's official--she's pregnant.

At 15 weeks I am 4 inches long and weigh about 2 ounces. To compare, I'm about the size of a Kit-Kat finger. Mommy's belly is definitely growing. She can feel the top of my home right below her belly button, which is quite a lot faster than she grew with Amelia. The ultrasound tech had a hard time seeing whether Amelia was a boy or a girl at the 20 week ultrasound because her rump was right behind Mommy's belly button. Maybe this means I'll give them an easier time of it in a few weeks.

One of the joys of Mommy getting bigger is that she has a harder time sleeping. She's hot, then she's cold, then she has to pee, then she can't get comfy around me. Sheesh! I wish she'd just sit still and sleep, for crying out loud!

Doctor's appointment tomorrow. Just a routine visit. We'll see what they think of Mommy's bad blood sugar readings. She'll probaly get put on some medicine pretty soon, then we'll have to start going to the doctor a lot more.
