This was the big weekend where Mommy and Daddy announced my impending arrival. They are very grateful for all the well-wishes.
I am currently 9 weeks old. I am approximately one inch long and I weigh about 2 grams, which means I am about the size of a martini olive and I weigh less than a penny.
Mommy is experiencing very minimal side effects right now. Mostly just a small amount of nausea that comes and goes, and a whole lot of hormonal attitude. So if Mommy gives you attitude, please excuse her. She really doesn't mean to be hateful right now, I'm controlling her body for the next several months.
We hope that you will follow our journey on this new blog, and of course keep checking in on my big sister's blog as well. She is doing so many fun things. She doesn't quite have any concept of my coming arrival yet. Mommy and Daddy try to tell her that there will be a baby around for Christmas, and she just looks at them and says, "Baby?" and brings them her baby doll. She'll get it eventually.
