First Appointment

Mommy and I went to our midwife interview on Friday. She got lots of info from Pam, the newest midwife. Most of it was review, of course, but it was good to review because she had forgotten some stuff since she was carrying Amelia. She liked Pam, who was very nice. The appointment took quite a lot longer than expected because she forgot about having labs drawn, and Pam worked her into the schedule for her first ultrasound. It was a good thing that we did that, because we found out the initial due date calculation was a little off. So, our newer, more accurate due date is December 6. I'm still so small it took a lot of work to get a view of me, and I currently just look like a little peanut, but we did get a grainy picture of me. Mommy will post it soon, if the scanner will pick it up. Since we had to adjust the due date, they pushed back the next appointment to May 19, rather than May 4. By waiting a little longer for that appointment, Mommy and Daddy will be able to hear my heartbeat, which they really enjoy.

Well, that's all we know for now. Mommy is finally starting to feel better from the bad cold and bronchitis she had. She's not having many side effects at this point, so she's feeling pretty good. Lets hope that everything goes smoothly over the next several months, and that I come out a happy, healthy baby.
