Today I am 13 weeks, and about 3 inches long and about 20 grams. I can make a fist and suck my thumb, if I feel up to that. My eyelids are fused shut to protect them while they develop. My bones and skull are solidifying and soon I will start developing my ribs. My intestines are in all the right places now, and my tooth buds are all formed. My vocal cords and larynx are all developed and ready to bellow out some screams when I pop out of Mommy in December.
At 13 weeks, Mommy is starting to feel a lot better. Her nausea is gone (finally!), and a lot of the aches and pains are starting to go away. She is able to sleep a little better, and is starting to feel a little more energetic. She knows that sleeping well won't last long though! If it's not from a soon-to-be huge belly keeping her from getting comfortable, it will be me keeping her up all night when I come along.
