Today I am 38 weeks and 2 days old. That means that Mommy and I have only 6 more days joined at the umbilical cord and I am being evicted. Last Tuesday when we were at the doctor's office they told us that tomorrow's appointment is when they would examine Mommy one more time and schedule our induction for Monday November 30. Mommy is so glad that I am almost done being in here and in her arms. I'm not sure if I'm quite so excited. It's awfully cozy in here and I've heard it's cold and bright and noisy out there. I think I'm doing just fine in here. But she's the boss, and if she says I have to come out, I guess I have to come out. I hear there are a lot of people waiting for me to come out so they can meet me, so I shouldn't disappoint.
Diabetic appointment today, OB appointment with ultrasound, NST, and exam tomorrow, Thanksgiving on Thursday, NST and more Thanksgiving on Saturday, and my arrival on Monday! What a busy week! Wish us luck getting through it all.
