Here I Am....

Hello world, here I am! This picture was the first one they got of me and I was sucking my thumb and smiling. Maybe I'm a happy little man.
I was sleepy, but I still gave a pretty good performance for the ultrasound tech. She had to watch for a number of certain movements and breaths, and I passed that in less than 5 minutes. That's how we ended up getting 3-D photos because we still had time, and I was in a great position.
When we got home, Mommy pulled out the scrapbook of Amelia's 3-D ultrasounds and this one looks EXACTLY like one of hers. Maybe I'll come out looking like her little clone.
I tend to be a bit of an acrobat in here. When the ultrasound tech switched back to the regular ultrasound images, she noticed I was doing something a little funny with my foot. She said, "What are you doing with your foot there, little guy???" and switched back to 3-D to find that I had pulled it up in front of my face. I'm silly like my Daddy.
This was probably the best shot--straight on view of my pretty little face. Mommy thinks I'm going to have the same cute little chin and nose as my big sister.
The appointments went very well. Everything still looks great, and I'm developing just beautifully. Next ultrasound is next Tuesday, so we'll probably have more pictures then.

Oh, by the way, the ultrasound tech said she saw a LOT of hair on my little head. We'll see how that turns out in a few weeks.
