I still have several more weeks to go, but the good news is, if I was born right now I would have a 9 out of 10 chance of survival. Yeah modern medicine!
My brain can now control my body temperature and breathing. I can also cough and suck, which gives me the wonderful hiccups that Mommy loves so much. :)
I'm starting to pack on the weight and the insulating fat stores that I will need to keep me warm out in the real world.
This week I'm about 15 inches long, about the size of a loaf of bread, and I weigh about 3 pounds. At Mommy's last appointments two weeks ago, she had only gained 4 pounds, so I guess most of the weight she has gained is....me!
